What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) allows you to subscribe to up-to-date offers, in the form of feeds, based on your interests. The feed is sent through an RSS reader, such as My Yahoo! and appears as a link in your account. When the link is clicked on, you're brought to the Web site containing the offer in its entirety. Keep Austin Weird 5K & Free Concert
June 14, 2008.
The 3rd annual "KeepAustinWeird 5K" celebrates the truly unique spirit of our great city. The race is sponsored by a who's who of local Austin businesses- the people, the places and the things- that Keep Austin Weird. It's another great way for these businesses to thank Austinites who support them and at the same time benefit Austin's crown jewel, the Barton Springs Pool.

Fourth of July Fireworks & Symphony
July 04, 2008.
Be part of the largest Independence Day celebration in the State. The Austin Symphony performs patriotic classics and the ever-popular 1812 Overture-punctuated by 75-millimeter Howitzer cannon, courtesy of the Texas National Guard Salute Battery. The concert finale backdrop is the spectacular mile-high fireworks display over the city's skyline. Free and open to the public.  Location: Zilker Park.
Music starts at 8:30 p.m.; fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.
