Guests must be 21 years of age or accompanied by a legal guardian able to present photo identification. The legal guardian must be present at all times.

Located in downtown Austin, Texas, The Driskill offers 189 distinct guestrooms and signature suites featuring classic styling and the rich colors of the Texas Hill Country.

The Driskill is a NON-SMOKING HOTEL. Smoking in guestrooms will result in a minimum $650 room cleaning fee, a forfeit of overnight accommodations without refund, and will require finding other accommodations immediately.

The pet-friendly Driskill Hotel offers pampered pets a specially-designed pet bed complete with The Driskill logo, gourmet pet treats, a chew toy and water & food bowls. Learn More 

A non-refundable fee of $75 per pet is charged to guests whose pets accompany them on their visit to The Driskill. There is a two pet limit per guestroom, and pets must be under the 35-lb. weight limit.

Bike Austin
The Driskill Hotel is pleased to offer bike rentals on property. Whether biking up Brazos Street or out for a dip in the Barton Springs Pool, we know you want to experience Austin like a local. This green option allows you to navigate Austin by beach cruiser or mountain bike. You'll  reduce your carbon foot print while experiencing all of the sights and sounds that the Austin area has to offer.

Rental fees include bike, helmet, lock, lights and map. Our concierge is happy to provide pricing and scheduling via phone, at 512-391-7013.  

Driskill Deputy Amenity
Our younger guests checking into The Driskill are deputized with a sheriff's Badge, and presented with an official sheriff's certificate signed by Colonel Jesse Driskill, the hotel's founder and namesake.

Children also receive a Driskill Hotel coloring book with crayons. After a busy day of keeping the peace, kids are treated to cookies and milk from 1886 Café & Bakery at the hotel.
